Trump Sparks Debate After Saying He’s Unsure of Making Heaven

U.S. President Donald Trump has sparked widespread reactions after admitting uncertainty about his chances of making heaven, despite claiming to have positively impacted many lives.

In an interview aired Monday on Fox News, Trump was questioned by correspondent Peter Doocy about a previous comment where he linked ending the war in Ukraine to earning a place in heaven.

“You said earlier that you hoped ending the war in Ukraine might help you get into heaven. Does this help?” Doocy asked.

With a grin, Trump responded, “I don’t think there’s anything that’s going to get me in heaven, OK? I really don’t. Maybe I’m in heaven already — flying on Air Force One.”

He went on to say, “I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven,” before adding that he finds consolation in the good he believes he’s done.

“But I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people,” Trump concluded.

The remark has since stirred diverse opinions across political and religious circles, with many debating whether it reflects humility or self-awareness from the former president.
