Governor Siminalayi Fubara on Friday pledged to sustain the policies and actions that have endeared his administration to Rivers people.
Speaking shortly after arriving at the Government House, Port Harcourt, Fubara described the massive turnout at the airport and across the state as a humbling show of love, confidence, and solidarity.
He announced that he would make a statewide broadcast at 6 p.m., where he plans to officially address the people and acknowledge stakeholders who played key roles in restoring peace and normalcy to Rivers State.
“The reception I witnessed was overwhelming. It was not just a celebration but a reaffirmation of the bond between this government and our people. I assure you, we will continue to do those things that have made you love us,” Fubara said.
The governor further expressed appreciation to Rivers residents for their unwavering support, stressing that his administration remains committed to serving them with love and sincerity.
